Stripes and Ruffles #bfingstyle

I have been seeing stripes and ruffles everywhere this summer - several pieces from Target's Who What Wear Collection featured a pattern similar to the dress below. I love this look because stripes in summer are classic and the ruffles add a fun feminine touch. Beware - I've also seen this combination make a grown woman look like a young girl or a pirate. I prefer more structured pieces to avoid looking like a little girl.

Not a good look, Jerry.

The classic shape of the dress below makes it more grown up and would even be appropriate for work. It's a sleeveless ruffled shirt dress, which makes breastfeeding in public and pumping much easier. I paired it with delicate tan and gold accessories for a very feminine and refined look. A cardigan or dark denim jacket would be great with it as well. I've linked to the dress pictured and some other nursing friendly ruffled and striped looks below.
