Super Mom, Super Tired: You Lingerie Pajama Set Review

You Lingerie is a brand I've been familiar with since the birth of my older son back in 2010. After having a conversation about not being able to find affordable and attractive nursing bras, a close friend shared their web page with me. I was hooked. I was very excited to purchase new nursing bras for my most recent pregnancy because there were even more gorgeous choices than before!

A little bit of background about this fab company: it's a woman-owned business started by Uyo Okebie-Eichelberger. Uyo left her job in corporate America and took a chance to follow her dreams as an entrepreneur. She's now at the helm of several different brands that make pregnant and breastfeeding mamas feel beautiful. If you're not following this badass mama on Instagram, you should really start. Not only does she have a gorgeous family, but she works to lift up other entrepreneurs by sharing what has contributed to her success.

I was recently given the opportunity to review an item from their maternity and nursing sleepwear line. I chose the Rosette Super Mom, Super Tired Maternity & Nursing Pajama Set. The red nursing tank top and white leopard print pajama pants were very me. They arrived quickly and I couldn't wait to try them on.

The first thing I noticed was the softness of the pants. Even the waistband was soft, which would've been great while I was pregnant and hated the feel of scratchy fabric on my bump. The fit was perfect, and I really liked the drawstrings on the bottom which let me adjust the length of the pants. The pants stayed put throughout the day, there was no having to tug them up as I completed various tasks around the house.

The top is also super soft. The longer length is obviously intended to cover a pregnant belly, but it didn't ride up as I moved around during the day or overnight. The shelf bra built into the top provided moderate support and was also comfortable. Nothing was digging into me, nor did it feel constricting. Breastfeeding my son was a breeze, especially in the overnight hours when I'm mostly asleep and fumbling to make my breast available. I was able to unlatch the tank top easily and never needed more than one hand.

The one small problem I have with them is that the care instructions say hand wash only. This was not a deal breaker for me. I found it easiest to wash this along with my nursing bras and lay flat to dry. It would be a bigger issue if I didn't have other clothes to hand wash. It's only two more things to wash. If you have a washer with a truly gentle hand wash cycle, you can use that option as well.

Overall, I am really pleased with the pajamas. Breastfeeding my son was a breeze and I felt a little more put together, even in pajamas. My husband welcomed the change from my usual yoga pants ensemble ;) I wish I had a pair or two of these while pregnant. They would've been great while on bed rest and during the postpartum recovery period. I would definitely recommend these to pregnant women as well as breastfeeding women. You Lingerie's pajamas are great quality, and I continue to be impressed with their stylish and comfortable items for pregnant and breastfeeding women!
